Northumberland 2014
I went on a family motorhome holiday touring Yorkshire and Northumberland in the NE of England in May 2014.
Many of the days it rained but all but one day I manged to get out taking both photos and video.
Northumberland has the lowest poulation per area of any county in England, but due to its far NE position against Scotland it was the area wher many battles occured prior to the two countries joining together. It had over 70 castles at one time, some no longer exist, some are wrecks while others are in good condition and lived in.
This video is an animated slide show of much of the holiday, and gives you a flavour of some of the heritage sites. I plan to make individual videos of a number of the places as well.
